It's a standard "Send To" option (the "buried" option you refer to?), but PWAs can also use SFAddToHomeScreenActivityItem.
(*I poked around a bit, and this may be possible, especially in California.)

Around 40% of Linux CLI tools are written in interpreted languages.
Pew found 16% of U.S. teens used X in 2025, versus 23% in 2022 and 33% in 2014–15.

It also doesn't help that simple utilities like this can now be roughed out in a day with AI.
You may like my project https://charleswiltgen.github.io/Axiom/ (FOSS). I was in the same place a year ago, and initially created Axiom as a private skills suite before deciding that it was too helpful not to share.
I think this is true. SwiftUI became "very good" as of iOS 26 (in part because the performance gap mostly evaporated) and continues to get better in iOS 27. Over and over, I see UIKit developers trying to do things "the UIKit way" in SwiftUI, and they'd rather write TFAs instead of considering that they may need to skill up and learn to write effective and idiomatic SwiftUI.
"Last month, Boy George launched a new company called Artist Included, which will use AI to allow artists to create new versions of earlier songs which resemble the originals, as a way of wresting back control of master recordings."

That's backwards. Dithering (and simulated halftoning, as in this case) adds detail/noise, making images harder to compress efficiently.
I just tell Claude Claude code, "commit all, grouping logically" after a tranche of work.
At least on Apple devices, this is not something anyone has to worry about.
For example, on my 2022 Mac Studio daily driver, on 24/7, DriveDx (https://binaryfruit.com/drivedx) reports my SSD lifetime left at 94%.
(I'm aware of the February 2021 "wear-gate" scare involving the first M1 Macs. This turned to be incorrect SSD-wear reporting.)
