Buzaga··on How to Work Remotely and Still Be the Best
isn't that a weird title for praising remote working?
Buzaga··on Capture the flag 2013
wish I knew anything about hacking to play this, just know development :( setting up the server would be some work to me already
Buzaga··on Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) force-fed under standard Guantánamo Bay procedure
* criminal government would be the right term of course as this is not exactly done in light of it's people scrutinity.
Buzaga··on Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) force-fed under standard Guantánamo Bay procedure
that's a very normal reaction, lookup any 'funny' video of people not being able to hold the pain of getting tattooed... they wanted it done, they paid, they try to sustain what they're going through since they accepted it in the first place(which is not the case of your criminal country abductees) and then it explodes in a violent reaction when they figure out "I really can't take it", go, look it up.
Buzaga··on Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) force-fed under standard Guantánamo Bay procedure
please make an AMA mr fountain of the truth, I'd like to know more.
Buzaga··on Did you know John Roberts is also chief justice of the NSA’s surveillance state?
Well, that's fucked up. Not much else to say.
Buzaga··on This Student Project Could Kill Digital Ad Targeting
a lot of people hate advertising, ads are everywhere, adding gamification to it creates a cool dynamic where people will take pleasure in sticking it to them, get a boost of privacy feeling and sense of power like(personal example) "oh marketers you want to teach this rails programmer rails? how cute, hadn't caught this one yet"

pokemon, man, it's fun. "eating cookies", you know? To me it's a really creative and beautiful idea

Buzaga··on Bolivia to file UN complaint over airspace blockade
New meme: Evo Morales can't participate in street fighter because he can't land on opponent's countries... :(

Buzaga··on Bolivia to file UN complaint over airspace blockade
The more the US make use and abuse it's force, the more it will lose it, the more it will try to keep control, the more authoritarian it will become, the more resistance will grow, the more the US will get alone. Keep thinking like that.
Buzaga··on Girl buys water, spends night in jail
At first I thought this was funny and thought about following up with more sarcasm

but then it hit me how much this is sad, USA seems 100% psychotic to me these days... I honestly feel like stopping following US-related news because it's all so depressing goddamn

Buzaga··on Sorry, NSA, Terrorists Don't Use Verizon. Or Skype. Or Gmail
Ok you touched my heart, lookup Breno Salgado in your prism(I'm brazilian so no need to hold yourself!) and you can have all my data and conversations, lets get to know each other better! Kisses, <3
Buzaga··on Don't Even Think of Using Encryption Software to Escape NSA Scrutiny
what an awesome country you have there, eh?

here's the rationale: if we don't have total awareness and snooping power over this guy private stuff, he must be doing secret stuff and we can't know if it's bad, therefore we have reason to believe he must be a TERRORIST(are you still using this one or have you admitted to yourself that the objective is just `total information awareness`?)

also, cannot stop LOVING that non-americans basically have no fucking rights whatsoever.

Buzaga··on Hackers vs. suits: Why nerds become leakers
hierarchy positions are much more political than technical ones, so hackers are picked by skill and quality instead of 'political reasons', in any strict hierarchical organization, the 'rebels' or 'dissidents' or 'opinionated' are gonna be weeded out of positions of power early on, and this serves to maintain, in the upper levels, only people who have the same exact vision and mindset as the people who are already there, be it because they are really strong followers of the institution credo or because they let themselves be molded by it.

Academia, military, corporations all are like this, I believe.

Buzaga··on Blogger, With Focus on Surveillance, Is at Center of a Debate
Apparently, he doesn't live in US but in Brazil(where I'm located, also), the irony is that since he's not in US it's they can probably run PRISM all over his stuff... I mean, he's american so maybe there's some little safeguards, but at this point he's probably already considered an enemy of US or aiding it so this can be bypassed, and even if not, since invading ALL PRIVACY of foreigners, me included, seems to be cool, they can run it through everyone near him and 'accidentally' get what they want, lawls...
Buzaga··on Google, Apple and Facebook Deny Participating In Alleged NSA “PRISM” Program
nice catch
Buzaga··on How to Spam your Facebook Friends for a Week
this is awesome, does this work with sponsored stories too?
Buzaga··on Confirmed: The NSA is Spying on Millions of Americans
since this is a leak, I'd suggest you americans to PLEASE press your government to reveal what other services they are imposing this, I see no reason why couldn't they be doing this with Facebook or other tech companies that are used ~globally~, and then it's a global espionage scheme. I'd like to know if I'm being spied right now too.
Buzaga··on Confirmed: The NSA is Spying on Millions of Americans
I wonder what the hell is voting for... this system is corrupted/failed already, politicians put millions and billions in marketing to get elected, sometimes with corruption money even(ruling party in Brazil admitted to it with a "everybody does it, it's normal" argument, also fucking lobbyists up there) and after they're there they don't have to answer to anyone anymore, it doesn't matter that the actions took by the government doesn't match the persona they marketed themselves to get there(As an outsider who rooted for Obama for his apparent reasoning and humanity, I'm severely disappointed with what I see), not to mention that probably in most countries the 'game' is already a two-party only play, with "you wouldn't want that other guy so pick me" as one of the prevalent voting reasonings, with parties getting more and more alike by the day, making the whole voting process look more like lucha-libre than a competition to me

I don't disagree with what you said but I'm seriously in doubt if I really trust "voting", I'm in Brazil and over here seems like it's a lost case(uneducated population, obligatory voting <= marketing + corrupts power circle)

Buzaga··on Evidence of Turkish state violence in pictures
Learn this and don't forget: police serves the state, not the people.
Buzaga··on Evidence of Turkish state violence in pictures
it's a strategy... he's probably trying to dismiss the issue, doing the silence strategy hoping things will cool down on their own
Buzaga··on Ask HN: What Freelancer site do you recommend?
I'm an awesome Ruby dev and I'm on oDesk, I live in a city with basically no market for rubyists but I've stuck with it out of passion(I'd have to find something else to do with my life if I had to keep with Java and government/bureaucracy software), I've got perfect english and I'm 1 hour away from EST, I've got no doubt I'd be making nice figures if I lived in any hot startup/private sector spot. oDesk allows me to work and get paid doing what I'm good at.
Buzaga··on Petition to release Cameron D'Ambrosio

Buzaga··on Failed App? This Is How To Reboot
I think this is a hard topic to cover because each app fails for it's own reasons, I've got one too(it's actually a webapp/website) and my biggest mistake was never marketing it, then lost all the momentum to keep improving it and stalled developments altogether...
Buzaga··on Facebook Home
Great point. Facebook doesn't offer a lot of value to it's users and that's a fact.

"Man I went this place.." "Yeah, I saw it on your Facebook..."

Buzaga··on Facebook Home
I've read articles talking about young ones already being bored with FB because of this.. and it only tends to get worse, nicely remembered ;D
Buzaga··on Facebook Home
Facebook is so dull :/
Buzaga··on Stop working so hard
Won't read because the arrows are mapped to changing articles.
Buzaga··on How I Used ADD to Build Great Businesses
I think your armchair biology is not quite right too.
Buzaga··on How I Used ADD to Build Great Businesses
Well but then diagnosing this equals to making our own nature wrong(or sick) by definition and then it's a paradox... if we need to start synthetically molding our body and cognitive functions that are healthy for the animal we are because it doesn't fit the society we designed and built for us ourselves to live comfortably... well, then something's wrong.
Buzaga··on How I Used ADD to Build Great Businesses
I say we should diagnose more ADD because really this stuff is way good, everybody has it and then people sort of like learn to control it or something! X-men is here folks!

Really, I have no idea what the fuck is ADD since it's symptoms seems to be stuff that everybody has to deal with and the best I can see people coming up with "no but when you have it it's like a LION is trying to eat you and you still can't focus, like, completely not normal"... I wonder, in case it's a legitimate thing, how the fuck have we gotten so far with 20% of brains shipping out with defects!? Amazing.

(I also guess the reason ppl are so proud of it is because this label is laid on them early on as childs, tweens... then they just start wearing it)
