I miss that feature. And that era.
I've never seen any ATS that required Linkedin for login, but even having it as an option I've always thought of as weird.
Then again, I have see many an ATS that include Facebook and other slop sites, so welcome to another layer of jobhunting madness.
damn!- was sitting in the Fx queue for TEN years: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380637
Here's the setup I use:
[1] install this userscript, keep the default `include` i.e. 'every link": https://greasyfork.org/scripts/12367-open-links-in-new-tab; add to the `exclude` section the sites from [2].
[2] install this one and turn OFF the default: https://greasyfork.org/scripts/4416-open-links-in-current-ta...; add any sites you want to stay in the same tab to the `include` section (e.g. see [0]). Depending on how you browse, this will be a small list.
You can couple this with a tab-memory addon: example-- set [1]-Tabs to 'sleep' after a certain time; that way they're not using resources but still available later.
AND if you decide you're not gonna read those tabs anyway, just manually close them with having to activate them.
Curiously neither this page nor the homepage[1] have a link to its forums: https://discourse.imfreedom.org
Was...was this a joke?
"A School District Tried to Help Train Waymos to Stop for School Buses. It Didn’t Work."
As the article describes, this malware was flagged by independent researchers 'years' before, and by other stores months before CWS.
It's a thankless task - except by nontech browser users - to modify Fx's menus. Anybody remember the XUL-era addon 'Menu Editor'? So many years and so much effort to make it 'simple' for typical users to customize Menu Bar and context-menus; and always a target that refused to stay standard given Firefox version changes ALWAYS break something about the UI. Ultimately a valiant but unrewarded failure, no blame to the 'Menu Editor' developer(s) and userbase.
As the writer will learn, the 'best' way to UI changes current (and XUL) Firefox is via userChrome.js/.css -- which has also had troubled history, as waves of main-office Fx developers have been openly hostile to promoting and supporting is functionalities.

This is also a lower-scale alternative to LibRedirect, containing one option it does not in its default config-- a non-dead way to redirect Instagram links.

This reminds me of a piece by "Ask The Headhunter" Nick Corcodilos - from 2018 - on having an AI do interviews on behalf of candidates [0]: I wonder if we can get Avatar Hank and Parker on a call, save and scrutinize their conversation for valuable insights. Curiously, in a perfect case of coincidence, a human (we assume!) 'Parker Miller' just a few weeks ago had something to say about shortsighted decision-making on human replacement by AI: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/parker-miller-ams_aistrategy-...
There's also "Jimmy the Weasel" Fratianno who turned FBI informant. In Ovid Demaris' book "The Last Mafioso: The Treacherous World of Jimmy Fratianno", he quotes Jimmy even laughs about being one, taking money from FBI and still running his rackets for a time.

It's almost as if there's a cadre of actors (not just on HN) who's job it is to quickly jump on any UFO -related topic and ensure they post as much misinformation and nonsensical points to muddle any serious discussion. Hmm...
You would think they would finally give up, given the cat is outta the bag, even the minuscule but legitimate evidence provided by insider govt sources, since at least 2017.
At least the upvoting ratio seems to be good on this thread, let's see how long that last.
and you'ld learn how to code just like millions have for decades - in school or library computer rooms, or with an age-restricted computer that your family would provide.
oh dear, have we forgotten about The Holocaust so soon?
Or are we just going to let slide mis-information on true historical events that don't need lying to relay the injustice, and support justice?
Btw we are not going to accept that you mistyped, Again.
