Regardless there is going to be bots and bad actors on your platform no one has enough money especially X to deal with them. A third party doing 80% of the work is an advantage, your reputation is already going to be tainted regardless

1) I prefer open access and because of the reasons you posted, so others can hold the private company accountable
2) This is capitalism if they don't see profit they aren't going to do anything. So I think this is an interesting case for a pure profit/cost saving argument to have that open access to user posts.
3) social media as it is now is measurably bad for society even without propaganda
bonus) I like seeing how Elon, touted as a genius, has continuously fumbled X and somehow making it a more exaggerated place that he said it was before his purchase.
Personally, finding ways to detect this is exactly the stuff that made me interested in the academic route of cybersecurity.
Usually that's what I hear from the bio/fitness PHDs breaking down studies on nutrition/drug effects for fitness/nutrition.
Then you are a nuance of a trip if you can't carry the fresh food staples, especially outside a metro area.
Hyperbole to quickly explain that my skin is better, my hormone levels are more even, better sleep makes my mood better, less brain fog. So some objective facts like I've improved my skin texture, and better sleep (longer, less interruptions, easier to get to sleep). Then a few subjective things like mood, brain fog, body doesn't hurt as much working out.
Side note I also feel fuller longer and have a hard time over eating, mostly due to having a large amount of both protein and fiber. So its helped me stay much leaner as someone that has issues with bingeing
>10x some micro nutrients, and 0x others.
I think a lot of the reason why it works is that it forces you to be aware of that 0x, and build verity into your diet. I have eggs, quinoa, milk, varieties of beans and nuts to help me meet that 0x, but I also have meat every few weeks you know?
I just started to think about meat being like 15% of the meal not 40%, but protein still be to focus calories wise. So if I made a taco salad it is closer to a 2 to 1 ratio of beans to meat over a kale/spinach mixed with quinoa with a lot of salsa and a little cheese
Plant based as I understand it mostly just means fill your calories with plants first then others like diary, eggs, meats etc. I think its much healthier than restrictive diets like keto, vegan, etc where you flat out can't have some foods. Foods just started to feel like a gradient of more to less optimal
Then that information is structured for a layman, like imagine brand-new devs walking into a bootcamp thinking Elixir is safe main language to learn based on YC hype. As good as it is, it doesn't have a big job market, has specialized use cases, and has the same dev environment/knowledge base of node/js in the late 2000's early 2010's.
I try to think of it like if there was a programming content creator saying Elxir is powerful and ready enough to use everywhere. Though it is true enough that it can be used anywhere, but anyone here could probably point out a bunch of situations you really should never ever use something like it. But imagine someone without that experience not knowing and taking their word for it and put it into prod blindly, it be a huge waste of time and money. Time and money is one thing but in health, knowing media and reading literacy is dropping, its just something if I where in his position I would see it as irresponsible to even mention some of the stuff he does.
All the best, not sure if it is helpful at all but its all I could think up <3
oh honey no
Linking a 4chan archive on here is a uuhh bold move, I think its a fun snapshot of the time but still
I feel like this is more programmers realizing they have to become the 10x they were told was a myth to survive. Which is kinda true! BUT what also is true using AI tools will make them that if they learn to use them, now they need to know security inside and out, systems design etc. Higher level concepts way above a code monkey's pay grade, now will be expectations, all the theory side is going to be much more important.
My anecdotal opinion for someone that smokes a lot compared to their long-term cannabis users, maybe once or twice a night vs 1 to 4 times weekly. I'm late twenties have been smoking since my early twenties, obsessed with brain optimization and min maxing performance etc. I feel like I've gotten smarter in some areas and dumber in others, which lines up with how weed affects the reward circuits of the brain imho. So I've been using it as a reward for doing stuff I otherwise would be uncomfortable with trying, like a new project or new hobbies; anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. So I think it has helped me get smarter programming and developing intuition on some areas, but since I have avoided writing like the plague it's gotten terrible to be honest. Personally it feels like it just tunnels you in further to what ever you are doing, and possibly makes it harder to stop doing it even not high
It's an executive function DISABILITY, it takes so much work to get it close to useful where it just makes it so your basically on par with everyone after it.
