ASVVVAD

Seems like a great channel, thanks!

v1.2 is out! many fixes and improvements ^^

Those are most likely accounts made for the free 30-day trial They're very common and they're given away to on social media sites etc.

Really for a first program! It looks cool I'll try it when I log in Windows in a couple months xD

Nice username

I made a section for this on the site[0] and gave man examples on how to switch themes including automatic CSS-only, JS, and server side. It's still a CSS-only framework those are just tips and the toggle button is for showcase ^^

Implemented that and more improvements in the v1.1 release https://asvvvad.github.io/mono-color/

Done! I made a fixed button that changes between the themes ^^

Thanks both! Yes that's true I agree with both of you on this I did the switching theme thing before on my site[1] by putting theme specific CSS into separate files and link those depending on the chosen theme. In case of my site that is done on the server side

I wil do the same with this. I'll look how to do it with JS for the demo page and add an extra release with separate theme files ^^

If you have any other ideas I'm glad to hear them!

An article about it: https://securitronlinux.com/bejiitaswrath/nt-3-50-build-782-... Video of someone exploring the source files with date modified being in 1994: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to_uj-7pGwc

I knew about the ability to change the url dynamically without reloading as it's commonly used nowadays but never seen or thought of anything like this! Really creative :3

Waiting for godot you mean

+1 for responsiveness, didn't try on the phone but the responsive design mode on Firefox works well!

One way to use Instagram on desktop is to change your browser's User-Agent to a mobile one

I made a blog post[1] about it a while ago which is elementaryOS oriented but can be used in any system or browser

Actually, Love2D is for used mobile as well. Both android and iOS is supported and there are community ports for other platforms

It's a joke about the play "Waiting for Godot"

Me too. I am currently using Disable HTML5 Autoplay addon for Firefox which can disable preloading too. I found that useful on metered data

How many people download it by choice though?

how I didn't see this, I am so happy right now! You're my favorite writer this is an honor, I'll definitely recommend it to everyone

I'm looking forward for the new book and editions, especially the introduction. Since seeing a copy of Homeland on Ed's mattress in the documentary is what got me to read the books!

Best of luck on the recording process and publishing ^^

I read it when I was 16 and it really changed my views

A couple years later I witnessed a lot of similar events to those in the novel, especially the protests and the government's reactions to them

Surprised how no one mentioned Little Brother[1] by Cory Doctorow and the sequel Homeland[2]

It's near-future Sci-Fi and since it was written in 2008, it's more or less present now. It dives into a lot of topics that are relevant nowadays

> On January 20, when China had reported only a few cases of the disease, Taiwan spun up a Central Epidemic Command Center—created after SARS—to coordinate the national effort.

That's how governments should react. They would lock someone out of suspicion but wouldn't do anything about a new disease until it had killed someone in their own country; as it happened today in Algeria.
