People later discovered that the "language" was actually not a newly constructed language but Chinese in plain Bopomofo (Mandarin Phonetic Symbols).
It is said a Taiwanese member in the development team came up with the idea. The difference of transliteration system between China and Taiwan made it a viable and interesting idea.
As the main remaining user of Bopomofo, many Taiwanese found it amusing thus it went viral and became a meme in Taiwanese internet culture.
Today, justfont, a type design studio in Taiwan, took on the meme and released Elffont, a Bopomofo font which turns Bopomofo symbols into fancy Elvish characters.
This font is free to use without further notice, and can be used for commercial applications. The font itself can not be modified, sold or re-released.

The so called "tech dev team" are responsible for all sorts of tasks, for example exploring new tech, prototyping, supporting product team with optimization or content production.
We had been supporting system design and development in a new Unity (game) project for half a year, things were fine, and then the project got frozen/archived/cancelled.
And the reason was simple, our big boss wanted to svalr new heights! Something just like the one he made ~20 years ago and still feeding the company. He wanted to concentrate resources on this new ambitious project of his.
So that was it, the end of a 10+ men project, we got assigned to different task then. And then again. Then again.
Sometimes we just experiented techs. Sometimes we worked on projects that is not promising at all from our view. Sometimes we took over a good project and altered it into a abomination.
As my first job in my career, I'd say it certainly harmed my passion. I really really hope I can works on something poilsitively meaningful and impactful/useful to the world or even just certain audience.
I am probably only qualified as junior go/.net developer, but if there's such opportunity please let me know.
I will be very surprised if it's not something wrong on my end that the billing support is not accessible for such a big corp.
The actual problem is... to know the person. There are no more suggestions from algorithms and no more million-followers accounts that you usually heard of, you need to dig to find people you find interesting.
I've been using Obsidian to keep my Japanese dictionary clip, so I did a quick test.
The import feature is working well, the .md renders perfectly.
But somehow, pasting is not working normally:
- Pasting into empty note is not working at all.
- If I type anything, then select it then paste, I can paste my clipboard into it, but urls are missing.
This is what I paste: https://www.toptal.com/developers/hastebin/nuhavenuge.md
BTW, I'm wondering how well does the graph view performs when there are, like, 1000+ notes?
> How often do you actually know who that really is? Let‘s say Beyoncé is coming to the arena closest to you.
Interesting, so you are saying either:
- Beyoncé official publish nothing about the event
- We have no way to look up the ticket info
Not likely IMO especially if we are talking stars like Beyoncé.> Plus, if I have to go to the central entity and check all that data, where is the benefit of going decentralized?
Well, de-centralization is nothing about convenience, and it's not just about ticket-selling.
I totally agree that blockchain & web3 is not mature at all comparing to how it is now, and I don't think it's going to be success unless they find a way to generally interact with real-world technically and legally.
Just consider it something like decoupling in coding but for the whole internet.
- NFT can have data on the .json file, so the rewarded user can be recorded.
> If you sell it to me as an NFT, how do I know it‘s not a fake NFT ticket or even a fake event?
This is actually not a problem at all:
- It's not likely you'd buy ticket for some event that you don't know/not interested.
- The event official (which you already know) should publish these info for query:
- The blockchain
- The contract address
- The NFT token ID
If you bought a proclaimed ticket NFT but it's fake, the only possibility is the official that you trust is a fraud. And this is off-topic. The idea is simple: "China is culturally an ancient agrarian society focused more on defending farmland than conquering nation" does not stand. Conquering happens a lot on that land way before PRC is a thing.
>China is culturally an ancient agrarian society focused more on defending farmland
is nonsense just like all the Chinese netizens who keep saying that "We Descendants of Yanhuang have 5000 years of history". Non-sense, PRC happened in 1949, and before that, it's a History of ethnicities from all over the land Conquer, Massacre, Annex and Integrate each other.
EDIT:
> China is not interested in controlling or imposing beliefs
There are 56 ethnic groups in China, they may have different culture even religion, what do you think how China managed to make sure all 55 other then Han stay under control?
