I think this is a really good list, especially your point about finding the signal in the noise on 4chan; once you sift through a lot of degeneracy there really is a lot of good info there.

How did you find it on your phone and why not get a different phone

We switched from Jira to Rally about a year ago. Our company just did a survey about which tool they'd rather use and Jira won by over 95%. We actually joked about having a party for using Jira.

I don't get it either. This is by far the most productive i've ever been at work and on personal projects. I don't miss spending 60+ minutes in my car 5x a week to sit in a cube with headphones on or sit in a meeting where we all look at a shared screen on our laptops... I start my workday when I wake up and finish working at the same time i'd normally be arriving home after my drive.

Going back and being annoyed with your old code means you've improved.

I think most people who have read the PF subreddits came to the same conclusion that you can't live life eating lentils and driving a 93 camry forever.

blegh.

Is there a plan to ever remove the old layout that people seem to prefer and force everyone on to the new UI?

Glad to hear you were able to grab a Caliburn. I've been using it instead of my juul for around 3 months now and my wallet thanks me. I generally replace the caliburn pod once a week or so, and if it ever starts to "spit" juice I pull the pod out and blow into it, seems to help. Good luck

Many people here are recommending switching off the juul which can be difficult when there aren't many similar devices out there, especially for people who don't want to carry a ~1lb box mod around. So I will highly recommend the Uwell Caliburn. It's entirely replaced my juul, its not much larger, the battery lasts longer and I like the flavors better. Plus the cost is significantly cheaper for me.

yet!

And its working well, I only get 3-4 random calls a day instead of 5-6 now.

90%? You think 1 in 10 people out there are passionate about their job and love going to work on Monday?

Thats no way to talk to the Thought Police

walking: Sounds great, not an option for the 99%

Opening the window: To make it hotter and more humid in my house?

Eat less meat: I dont mind using turkey instead of beef anymore but good luck convincing most others.

CFCs? Geniunely curious how? My gf uses a can of dry shampoo in 2 weeks and im sure she isn't using it at a rate higher than most others..

Its not super great but i’ve become a fan of doing this:

{ “name”: “Michael Scott”, “age”: 40, “_comments”: [“”] }

This is how I was raised, and exactly what I would do if I were a parent.

This is some flat-earth level misinformation right here.

So often do I hear "You skip breakfast?? But its the most important meal of the day!".

That wouldn't fit the business model of "push them to the native app as hard as possible"

Jocko Willink

It sounds like another strongly worded letter to the school along with a note/email from a doctor explaining the situation might fix this. I don't think trying once and then saying "Well i guess i cant stop my kid from doing something" is a good idea. As someone who grew up with 0 restrictions on what I ate and when I ate it pains me now to think back on what my parents fed me/allowed me to consume.

That would be added to management

Oh, our manager _and_ our CTO lived 2 states away and were flown in every tuesday through thursday.

Worked a job at a startup once that had a 40hr "butt-in-seat" policy. The PM would be the one to record the exact time you sat down, the exact length of your lunch, and the exact time you left. This also included breaks. There would be a report to management every Friday and then a 1 on 1 with the manager if he didn't "like" what he saw.

+1 for r/Skookum

Actually I agree with him, it's fairly unprofessional, and i'm usually one for casual but it just feels immature.

Like the other recommendations he's published, they can all be found on the "Must read" table at your local Barnes and Noble.
