Needs to be able to fly away when being stolen ;)

It needs to work in reverse so you can follow the stolen camera.

That's why you have flying military drones with guns to protect stuff :)

They can have an alarm mode actionable, only the person wearing the tag can approach without triggering an alarm if set ON. That would be pretty neat, and reassuring.
