Ask HN: Why is the housing app so fast?

This [app][1] is blazingly fast.I doubt it has much use in the American market but could the HN community speculate what could be a possible setup behind this?

I've tried doing a normal systrace analysis but could not come up with any concrete reasons.

PS: I am asking only regarding the API responses and not the images.
