And desperation return to Greece. I really don't understand Varoufakis any more, he's contradicting himself twice weekly and seems to be hell bent on destroying any chance that Greece will be able to do what needs doing. Such a pity, it will take a long time to sort this mess out and the current government of Greece will (as those before them) likely have nothing to do with that.

6 months from being on a path to recovery to being on a near-certain bank-run on Monday...

I've never seen such a mess, even Italy in the worst days was better than this.

He is an expert in Game Theory and he is probably playing а game no one understands... That's quite sad - they have good food and nice beaches. I've always enjoyed going there :|

Super nice people too...

Don't forget calling the European creditors "terrorists".

I have heard lots of my fellow countrymen, very educated social democrats, dismiss Varoufakis and Greece demands for his rhetoric warfare alone.

It doesn't matter how good an economist he is, Greece would have needed a diplomat.

The loans to Greece commonly require austerity measures.

Do they ever require that the money be spent on economic development? For example replanting the olive trees that were lost in the big fire a while back.
