The only potential use I see for Docker's potential is to distribute applications with data as combined appliances: so if you want a PostGIS server preloaded with maps, you can do `docker fetch some_postgis_server` and end up with something you can query. But then when you try to build such an appliance (containing a lot of data), and push it to Docker Hub, it ends up failing with a mysterious error code overnight, and you open a ticket, and nobody follows up on that ticket. Docker has to get better at that kind of thing before I can consider using it again.
