Would you hire a VP of Product that recently worked for a large consulting firm?

My wife is interviewing for new jobs and one of the top prospects is from a big consulting firm. In the past she has worked for several tech startups in SF and would like to work in them again. Will she have trouble getting back into startups after working for a large consulting company? Is there a bad stigma from working for a consulting company?

She is a Product Manager and UX designer.

Thanks
