Take a look on https://ruxit.com - the problem concept that it introduce might be what you look for. It is a correlation of events or alerts in whole system that one causes another and it tells the root cause. There is a problem dashboard and you can get notifications when a problem occurs.

Ruxit is horribly expensive. I have 10 servers and something like OpsDash or New Relic is much more cheaper!

Wow, anything that can be compared to New Relic and come out cheaper really must cost a fortune. New Relic are great, but at the moment they're probably the most expensive part of our infrastructure (including servers, through virtue of AWS giving hefty account credits to companies in incubators).

The secret to NewRelic is to deploy it on a limited number of servers to monitor performance and use an open source monitoring tool like Icinga to do actual monitoring.

Ruxit looked very interesting. But you are right, they are expensive. 0.15$ per host per hour. That means, 0.15 x 24 x 30 = 108$ per month per host.

I agree that it is expensive. However, I went through their Product Tour and blogs and it looks like they are taking a very novel approach as far as APM is concerned. Apart from the price, how's the actual experience? Does their AI actually identify the root cause of a problem? Does the no-configuration approach actually work?

Ruxit is actually cheaper than New Relic by about 149 if you use it 24x7 and commit to an annual contract. Ruxit is pure pay-as-you go.

Why do you think this is more expensive?

If I understood correctly, ruxit is a monitoring service (so basically new relic replacement with better UI), while the OP's product is just a New Relic API client. So these are quite different products :)

You can for sure replace New Relic with Ruxit and it also comes with quite some benefits regarding smarter alerting and problem analysis.
