Canada, Tomorrow's Superpower

This ofcourse was introduced by the current corrupt Harper government and can be aimed at liberals who oppose government plans to sell off our natural resources to oil and water companies for peanuts at a high risk to its citizens.
Anyone wanting to immigrate to or open business in Canada, think twice, as this is not the same country you once knew.
They're not going to revoke citizenships because you work in the US. They will revoke them from people who fought in armed conflicts against Canada, from people charged with terrorism related offenses in their home countries, and from people who intend to commit acts of terrorism.
What you've said is incorrect. There's a lot in bill c51, but no-one intends to use it against someone who works in the US.
Protesting a pipeline by mailing thousands of letters to an office, each from a different person, signed, and forwarding a petition to the government? Great! That's how direct democracy works. Get out there and make noise.
Protesting as in handcuffing themselves through a steel pipe, to the trees in the path of a new pipeline? Not terrorism, they'll just go to jail. Maybe they'll get a record, maybe not. Some people are OK with doing this, and it does send a strong message. I'll concede to you that I'm concerned that at some point, someone outside the law and government could convince (or coerce) someone into calling a few instances of this type of protest terrorism.
Protesting as in bombing a pipeline? Well... the way the laws are now, they'll probably just go to jail, unless they're receiving explosives, instruction or funding from a known terrorist group. If they're self-radicalized, they're going to be made an example of. If they're tied to a group, that's when we'll see more of bill c51 used.
I know I won't lose my citizenship. The people who this will be used against aren't the kind of people I want to share Canadian citizenship with. Say someone who was born here, and had another citizenship, joins ISIS, and isn't allowed back? I'm OK with that.
If I read that they died in the desert (this actually just happened to few guys from Canada), I'd shake the guy who pulled the trigger's hand.
Criminals, even war criminals, are still citizens.
What a politician says a law is for, and what a law can be used for, are often very different.
Does anyone else in Canada feel this way? What's the mood like there, in general? Would he be re-elected? How is his approval?
It seems like he's dismantling everything good about Canada... But then, rose colored glasses and greener grass, I suppose.
