Ask HN: I am building a “Trello clone”, what front end/UI framework should I use?

I am building an app for my TimeBlock method that when it comes to drag/dropping and editing is similar to Trello.

We are building it in C# on the .NET platform using MVC, SignalR and jQuery for the front end stuff, but I am wondering if there is a front-end framework that would make it easier to build the UI since we are struggling at the moment with errors that to me feel like something that would be avoided if we used a framework instead of hand coding everything.
