A bit like if google docs had a baby with OneNote
Keeping "real" thickness slows down rendering by a factor of 1.5-2 depending on browser used. Images look better though. I'm not sure what users want at this stage of the project. Perhaps a toggle?
Not sure if I communicated it across: Writelive drawings are always updated in real time. Think shared whiteboard. Co-drawing / co-writing. Currently you can only view via web. Drawing is limited to Android - drawing without a pressure sensitive stylus offers bad experience anyway.
* No apparent way to use custom fonts (I want to use Computer Modern Unicode Serif to make my things TeXy, but that's not an option).
* Also no apparent way to use existing icons that I may already have (like a company logo or somesuch).
* I was required to create an account before even receiving any semblance of an introduction on what this thing even is.
* The "Path" tool's crosshair is offset from where the path is actually drawn, which is incredibly annoying. This is also the case for the "Text" tool.
1. sign up 2. go through the little tutorial 3. get prompted to name a new project 4. do so, and it now feels broken (unresponsive) 5. navigate back to the project/:projectId page 6. click new design 7. select "blank" 8. get to a 404 page with the following url: https://inlinehq.com/projects/39653/designs/new?template_id=...
Also, the new design button is really unresponsive, please consider making that button aware if it has promises waiting to for your server to fulfill.
