Ask HN: What project and resource management tools do you use?

We're currently in the stage of growing a company to 20+ people and are finding that out standard todo-list (asana) and feature management (jira) tools are insufficient. What those tools are lacking for us in particular are detailed resource and time management when a project spans over multiple departments (software / electrical / mechanical engineering).

What tools or combination of tools do you use for achieving this? And does anyone know what the Tesla/Apples/Pears of the world use?
