Indian IT workers are easy to boss around?
I've come to a sad conclusion that one of the main reasons why managers love to outsource to companies like Accenture, Tata, and Cognizant is because their Indian consultants are easier to boss around and are far less likely to question manager's decisions.
IT workers in general have higher cognitive capacity than their non-IT managers and fellow coworkers, and I have noticed that American developers (or Russian/Ukrainian transplants from the 80s/90s) are not afraid to question bad decisions and authorities. This is sharp contrast to Indian workers who will follow orders without much push-backs, and those who do, are often replaced at the request of management.
Do you think there's validity to this observation? I've thought about other factors too, such as full-timer vs consultants and young vs old.
