Ask HN: Why should I learn OS design?
I'm considering diving into learning Operating System design, because I think it looks interesting and it would bridge a gap in my knowledge of how a computer works, full stack, but I'm looking for more practical applications too.
I know understanding the design will help me as a coder to make better design decisions about a program I'm writing, but what else do you think learning about the architecture of operating systems would help with?
Thanks!
