Having encrypted information on your computers is a liability. It could be misconstrued as information you have access to and relevant to whatever criminal charges you might have against you. Failure to provide the encrypted information, even though you know you can't decrypt it, can land you in jail for life.
But that's pretty obscure and unlikely.
