After working in the Microsoft universe for a decade I decided to broaden my horizon, so I digged into Node.js. I am quite impressed with what I found and what I could accomplish in a few weeks with that tooling, but one thing was left - I had no idea how and where to host my stuff. As I did not find a typical all-in-one-solution, I just made the decision to also dig into Linux. That's the (preliminary) result of my journey, which may be helpful to others too.
(And if I got something horrible wrong, just tell me and I will fix it ...).
