Ask HN: Bad CVs/Resumes and why, in your opinion, they were show-stoppers

What specific things have you seen on a CV/Resume that have turned you off, or killed a sense of enthusiasm for a candidate?

This is not a question seeking/promising the Holy Grail of CVs/Resumes that often appear. Simply: as a hiring manager, person in the hiring chain, or simply someone advising a friend, what on a CV/Resume (or lacking from a CV/Resume) has said 'show-stopper' for you?

I think this could help a lot of people.
