The startup culture at Posterous

Their original tagline was something along the lines of "it's preposterously easy to use." (I say it as "post-erous" too, don't worry).

If anyone tries to correct you on the pronunciation maybe you can tell them:

"Post-erous, posterous, smackerous... They're too busy putting in new features to care about stuff like that. They care about results, not pronunciations. That's the start-up way."

(Unless of course it's Garry Tan trying to correct you on it.)

I initially misread its name as Posterious, and haven't been able to shake that pronunciation (like "post" + "serious") in my head since then.

I'm the opposite, I had been pronouncing it correctly, but thinking the whole time i was incorrect and it was supposed to start with the sound post!

I still call it post-erous, despite knowing better.

A friend with a Russian accent just pronounced it hilariously today - something like Post-air-ee-ous. I think they should roll with that!
