Ask HN: Will it be possible to develop Ubuntu Touch apps in Python?

I'm thinking about learning to develop apps for ubuntu touch, but I would like to try to avoid js if possible. It would be ideal to make them in python. It's not supported yet, but I don't see any reason for that. Do you think there's any way to make python apps now, or will be in the future?
