Hey, I designed it, and I've felt the pain of low contrast so often yet I guess when you're knee deep making it all look right you lose sight of the forest. I'm uploading a version with more contrast, let's see how people find it.
The headers could use a different (darker) color to offset them. Right now it's easy for the eye to skip from section to section.
Run this in your console:
$('.navigation').css('background', '#222');
Thanks! If it wasn't for this I would have given up on this site for being unreadable.
totally agree, this makes the site readable :)
Me too. What's with all the pink. Atleast, give the user an option to choose from 6 or so basic colors.
You can have any colour you want. As long as it's pink ;)
I'd be perfectly happy with the current pink and a 'night mode' alternative (I wish more sites had this as an option).
Great idea! I was thinking black & white, high contrast alternative--maybe both--but I'm a sucker for night modes. Says my Emacs and Duckduckgo setting.
