Apple redirects its main homepage to a countdown for it’s event

The title:

Should be "its" event, not "it's" event, which means "it is".

The countdown doesn't load for me. Apple's own Cross-Origin policy is blocking it.

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://www.apple.com/live/countdown.json. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://www.apple.com' is therefore not allowed access. (index):1

Trying to access https://www.apple.com by hand just redirects me back to the HTTP site.
