right. That is the worry. I am only going to have a portfolio of 4-5 things, and a basic skill-set. I am just going to work really hard over the next 4 months and by that time I hopefully will get to a place where I feel comfortable working with the technologies I am studying.
Look at your other abilities that can add value for people. The goal is to be a linchpin. Indispensable. With only basic programming skills, you need to add other intangibles to the mix.
Then the right question to ask would be: "Am I good enough to join a startup?".
