Thanks, but I was asking more about this piece in particular - what does it add? It's presented like it's a research piece but as far as I can tell it's just the author's thoughts on how it feels to be interrupted written up as if there was research done.
Is anyone else sick of these interruption articles? We get it; writing code requires focus, interruptions are bad. Etc. Etc. Can't that be said about most tasks that take any type of focus?
Much like the old "beatings will continue until morale improves", these interruption articles will keep being posted until interruptions cease. Why, are you feeling annoyed by the interruption of this article ;) ?
