True, the trackpad is a killer once you get the handle of it.

I didn't like mine (and it was a PITA to get it), probably because there is no "resting position" like with a big mouse.

Just rest your hand on it is the best advice i can give. The palm detection works really well.

I just keep the base of the hand outside the lower part of the trackpad

There's also a trackpad<>keyboard hand movement as well so it doesn't stay there always.
