I got a free ipod shuffle. Any cool hacks I can try?

I joined this society that gives their new members an iPod Shuffle (or the worst textbook ever reviewed on Amazon). I have no use for an ipod shuffle, but it's better than wasting shelf space on a bad book. I might give it to my wife for this therapy thing she does for kids on the autism spectrum, but she already has an 8 GB nano for that project. What can I do with this thing?
