Ask HN: What's your favorite reference material on starting a business?

I'm starting a consulting business on the side to save up money for more ambitious ventures. Unfortunately, I know nothing about starting business. I was hoping that some of the folks here who have successfully launched could share any references they found useful. I'm specifically concerned with the financial side of things, but any trustworthy references and advice would be much appreciated.
