Ask HN: Is 1Mobile Market as sketchy as I think it is?

This is something I've seen suggested a lot while looking for ways to get Android apps on to my Kindle Fire. It looks very sketchy, and the only reviews I can find look as sketchy as the app.

Has anyone on HN had experience with it?
