Ask HN: Where to live during summer in/around Mountain View?

Long story short: I'm interning at Google, first time in CA, we 4 are looking for some lesser expensive housing options (corporate housing is expensive) near Googleplex. We have scoured through CL and airbnb but there is till a risk of getting scammed.

All we want is about 3 months of lease in a furnished apartment.

Any suggestions?
