NSFW: Bringing Nothing To TechCrunch, And A Brand New Reality To The Trolls

I had never read the comments on TechCrunch before.

I won't be making that mistake again.

I wonder if anyone ever told him that trolls aren't called trolls because they are like the mythical ugly green humanoids...

That said, I generally enjoy NSFW for its entertainment value.

Dunno why he wants to kill anonymity on the internet. I really miss the time it was hard for people to find out about me without actually talking to me.

I hope they really do let him keep "editorial independance" - he's got an acid tongue but he tells it straight (like with the last.fm nonsense)

The quality of comments on the Internet is usually directly related to the tone of the original content. If the content is sensationalistic, antagonistic, or snarky you're going to see it reflected in the comments. Sites like TechCrunch, Engadget, Digg, etc show this in action. Then you have a site like HN that is still devoted to serious content where the signal-to-noise ratio for comments is very good.

Truly, the death of Tech Journalism. Techcrunch has always been quite terrible and now this :|
