Ask HN: Berlin Hacker Meet

Hi,

I will be visiting Berlin for a week, arriving on the 28/7 and I was wondering if there are any startup people in town who'd like to meet up sometime for dinner or drinks. I've heard great things about Berlin and will spend half my time exploring the town and the rest doing some recreational hacking to charge my mental batteries. Guess, I should introduce myself as well, I'm currently living in Gothenburg (Sweden) working for a medical startup doing research on how to use haptics for stroke rehabilitation. At work we mostly do stuff in C++ and Python and at home I like to code Haskell and CL.

BTW, Does anybody have recommendations for nice cafe´s for some recreational coding (with good coffee and WIFI)?

Cheers, Babar
