I thought the Chicago (technically the Schaumburg office I believe) moto office was part of the Mobility group? Google is retaining those people?

Motorola Mobility office is in Libertyville and they are currently moving some employees to an office in downtown Chicago.

You're confusing Motorola Solutions headquartered in Schaumburg and Motorola Mobility headquartered in Libertyville.
