EVERYTHING? Oh, come on, the United States treasury knows very well what kinds of bonds it has ever issued, and it has denied that those were genuine United States bonds. Although "there is no news that American experts have inspected them in person," that doesn't matter if the description of the bonds from the Italian authorities is sufficiently detailed to exclude any genuine United States bond ever issued.
If they are real it would be an easy way to get out of $billions by claiming they're fake
