Ask HN: Hardware with regular software updates from the manufacturer?

What are your recommendations for devices that get regular software updates from the manufacturers?

For example, I've given up hope on my non-Nexus Android phone getting any updates even though it is from a major manufacturer and is only a year old. A similar thing happened with my Netgear router, which has had no firmware updates for a very long time.

In contrast, I understand Nexus phones and Apple routers do get regular updates for a long time after they are released.

Please share your advice for all kinds of devices, phones, routers, washing machines etc. that get regular updates from the manufacturer.
