The whole "hours of pain thing", first begins when you press "New job". I set up my first Jenkins build server a week ago and I spent about 10 hours googling cryptic error messages, when trying to configure the build.
I have a strong feeling someone is trolling here.
Can you paste some of these 'cryptic error messages' that you were getting?
