Ask HN: Fundraising for a Robotics Club

1 pointmichael_fine0 comments

I'm working on raising money for my high school's, Bethesda Chevy Chase, fledgling robotics club. I've raised about $950 of the goal $1500 dollars by targeting a combination of tech and non tech local businesses, as well as applying for grants. This is a rough outline of the email I send: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AMOGOEeEDhzVRzzJbjeobFwenWWL9a1Wvtzg1r359po/edit?usp=sharing

Is there any way I can make my fundraising more effective, or any other businesses/verticals to target? I'd really appreciate your advice
