I am beyond the online tutorials and the how to guides, but I am having a hard time finding good resources to learn that next step. What resource would HN recommend for flow control beyond the basics.

Secondly, is there a good place to find specific best practices for specific languages. Besides stackoverflow which tends to have a high noise ratio.
