I do agree that the 9-year old girl should be getting more visibility than those other 2 guys, and I think that she will.

But at the same time, the idea here is that we want to more individuals like her to join the startup community. The current environment is hostile to women and children, as evidenced by the mother's onsite tweet. Therefore raising attention to these issues makes it more likely that the problem will be addressed in the future.
