Patent trolls seldom go after foreign businesses, or do anything else that even remotely looks like actual work.
Buying and litigating patents is A LOT of work.
I am not supporting them - but you can't discredit their work just because you don't believe in what they legally are entitled to do.
I don't support big oil or old-school-energy monopolies - but that doesn't mean I discredit what they do.
