Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you.

I thought there was going to be a clever joke about him spinning, but alas.

Compare what he is saying here about this bill, vs the gun laws attempting to be introduced after the Sandy Hook shooting.

Sometimes a limb just becomes so rotten the only option is amputation. The only problem with that is that there is a pretty good chance this limb will craw away afterwards.

There's a pretty good chance that this limb will try strangling you if you try and cut it off, too :(

There's an even better chance that the whole tree is rotten.
