While I haven't any book recommendations, I think one of the key things for delegation is to understand that you don't have to do everything. If you believe that you have to do everything because otherwise the work won't get done, then you either don't trust your team to be able to execute, or you want to be the "hero", neither of which are good things.
For more inexperienced delegates, you'll have to spend more time forming the task into something concrete for them to work with. However, over time you're building them up to be a productive member of the team that will need less and less instruction. I'm not sure a book can teach that, because I believe it's knowing your team, what they're capable of, and making the most out of their talents.
