Ask HN: I'm in NYC, any one wanna grab coffee / beer?

I'm in New York for the week, and it's a business trip so I'm here on my own. I'm staying in the financial district, so if any one's around and wants to grab a drink, let me know.

Sure ;)

FWIW you might be interested in going to http://www.meetup.com/nyhacker/events/125131862/ tomorrow.

Cheers, this looks awesome, I'll be sure to check it out

Before I post another one of these for SF: I'm in a similar situation this week in SF. I'd love to meet some of you. Anyone want to grab a beer?

Hi Matt - I hope someone meets up with you! I'm in London at the mo, but I just wanted to say (it's a bit off-topic): BugMuncher looks great! I am definitely going to give it a go, when I find some time. Nice one. Good luck with it :)

On that note, I'm in LA (hollywood area) and if anyone ever want's to grab a beer or coffee I always love to meet other hackers and entrepeneurs who are passionate about tech and startups

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I would say the same for the Bay Area/Silicon Valley. My contact info is in my user profile.

Wow, awesome response, thanks everyone :)

I'll have a better idea of my schedule tomorrow afternoon, so I'll get back to everyone then. Looking forward to meeting some fellow HNers

gdgt Live and Engadget Live are taking place tomorrow night in NYC, and it's free to attend if you register via Eventbrite (assuming it isn't sold out). You should check it out. There are a lot of cool people to meet there.

I'd love to. Interning here for the summer, passionate about startups, and I'm heavily involved in bringing it to Georgia Tech :) Shoot me an email at chintanparikh@gatech.edu

I'm in the financial district too, except that I'm in San Francisco's financial district. ;)

That might require a bit of a commute.

It's just around the corner.

I live in new hampshire, but there's an office building downtown called "Wall Street"

I used to live in Georgia where there is a city called Warsaw. Always found that one kind of funny.

If you're still in town on Friday or Saturday then I'd be happy to meet.

Matt- would love to have you for a coffee in our SoHo office. -madho

Maybe there should be an app for this?

HN coffee time app!
