Ask HN: Won a hackathon. How do I get my prize money?

I won first prize ($3000) in a hackathon last week. Now, the organizers have sent me a TIN form to claim my prize money. I came on a business visa to california, a couple of weeks back to start a new company and haven't yet started any paper work. What are my options?
