Unfortunate.. yet why is HN telling me this

Because ever since the NSA story leaked, HN has become isomorphic to /r/politics.

Because our government is out-of-control at every level, and there is no accountability. Our government is staffed with yes-men and women who don't want to risk their careers to rock the boat and stop injustice from happening. No, it's not really about startups or technology, but it's important nonetheless.

Why did you erase your story? Was this in SF?

I erased it because I am afraid. No, but it was California.

First of all, no, it's an example of a law enforcement officer exceeding their authority, not "government out-of-control". Government actually worked, and here's the reason why: there obviously is accountability because internal affairs got him fired and more investigations are under way.

This has nothing to do with women's careers or yes-men. This is tragic, but not important. It's tragedy porn.

Fuck you. That judge sat there, the other marshal sat there, and did nothing. IA didn't even contact the woman. The judge still has her job. The Marshal only lost his job. You just watched a woman get fucked by the system that was supposed to protect her, and you defend it.

I hate your guts.

Okay, crazy person. Perhaps look into getting some therapy for your anger issues.
