Is this serious? This "news" website is making an outlandish claim, yet cites not a single source.

Where did this quote come from? Who are they quoting? There is just so much wrong with this article.

This is so terribly, terribly fake. Look at the other stories run on this site: "Kim Jong-Un cancels nuclear war, reveals he is K-pop star PSY", "Amanda Bynes to star in porn movie with Ron Jeremy", &c.

As deadly serious as I believe this surveillance business is, I think people are starting to get a little breathless, and lose sight of reality. Just a bit...

That, or they upvoted a witty article on HN.

It's not as hilarious as it could be, but amid mass hysteria, a joke or two never hurts.

If this is true. I saw this coming.

The story of Gary McKinnon gave me this feeling.

Also the constant Chinese hacker issue and reports from the Obama administration on how low-tech the White House is added to that feeling.
