For what it's worth, ToroPHP allows you to do pretty much exactly what he's describing in PHP. But as always, you should use what makes you productive, whether that's Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, COBOL or QuickBASIC. Maybe not the last one. But then again, maybe that too.
